Rumour: Skoda India appoints Amit Sagar as sales head

Skoda has appointed Amit Sagar as the head of its sales operations in India.

Amit has more than 21 years of experience in the automotive industry. He has worked as the Area Manager - Delhi (commercial vehicle sales & service) for Tata Motors from May 1993 to December 2000 and Regional Manager - Gujarat for Maruti Suzuki from January 2001 to October 2008.

He returned Tata Motors in November 2008 as head of the Indica Product Group (National Head - Sales & Marketing of Indica and Vista). He has also been the National Sales Head (passenger cars) at the company and is managing the dealer network across North and West since August 2013.
