Variant details of the next-generation Hyundai i20 may have leaked ahead of its launch. It is suggested that the new i20 could come in four variants - Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O).
The hatchback will get three engine options. These include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which will be paired to a manual transmission and an IVT, a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired to an iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired to a manual transmission.
The 1.0-litre turbo petrol variant equipped with the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission was seen testing earlier this month.
The next-gen i20 is expected to be launched on October 28, 2020.
