According to a media report, Ford is unlikely to introduce the 2.0-litre, twin-turbo diesel engine on the current generation Endeavour. Instead, the more powerful engine is likely to be offered on the next-generation model.
In the international market, the SUV gets the 2.0-litre, twin-turbo unit that makes 211 BHP and 500 Nm. This engine could be introduced on the next generation Endeavour, which is said to debut in the second half of 2021.
At present, the Endeavour is available with a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine equipped with a single turbocharger. It produces 168 BHP @ 3,500 rpm and 420 Nm @ 2,000-2,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
