MRF could soon introduce a new tyre with an asymmetrical tread pattern in the India market. It seems that the new tyre will be branded as MRF Perfinza, which has been already trademarked by the company.

The vehicle seen here is sporting 15-inch wheels shod with 195/60 R15 MRF Perfinzas. The asymmetric tread is clearly visible in one of the images. The inner side of the tyre has a more intricate tread than the outer side.

According to the markings on the tyre, this particular one is rated for a maximum load of 560 kg and 51 psi of air pressure. The tread is constructed using a combination of 2-ply polyester and steel, while the sidewall uses 2-ply polyester.

The tyre has a temperature rating of 'B' which means it can effectively dissipate heat between speeds of 161-185 km/hr. Also, a traction rating of 'A' means the MRF Perfinza can withstand cornering forces upwards of 0.47 Gs on tarmac and 0.35 Gs on concrete surfaces before losing traction. It has a treadwear rating of 360 which measure the longevity of the tyre.
