Rumour: Mahindra XUV700 to be launched on August 15

The XUV700 is likely to get a "Boss Mode" similar to the Tata Safari.

We know that Mahindra will debut the XUV700 this year but the company is yet to announce its official launch date. If the latest rumours are to be believed, the SUV could be launched on August 15, 2021.

Mahindra has already launched a teaser campaign detailing some of the standout features of the XUV700. The car will be equipped with flush-fitting door handles, Auto Booster Headlamps and a panoramic sunroof that is claimed to be the largest in the segment.

A recent spy image has also revealed that the XUV700 is likely to get a "Boss Mode" similar to the Tata Safari. This feature allows the rear passenger to move the front passenger seat using a lever integrated into the seat.

The Mahindra XUV700 will be offered with two engine options - a 2.2-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that is said to be the most powerful in the segment. Both engines are expected to come with a choice of a manual or automatic transmission.
