According to a media report, Hyundai is likely to launch the Alcazar sometime next month.
The Alcazar is the 7-seater version of the Creta. Its launch had to be postponed because the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic swept across India.
The Alcazar will come equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charging and drive modes.
The SUV will be offered in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. The 6-seater version will get separate captain seats in the second row with a centre console between them. The third row of seats also has a reclining function.
The Alcazar is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 157 BHP and 192 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that puts out 113 BHP and 250 Nm. Both engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
