Rumour: Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS discontinued

According to a media report, Bajaj Auto has discontinued the Pulsar 135 LS. The motorcycle has been removed from Bajaj Auto's official website as well. While the model will no longer be available in India, Bajaj will reportedly continue producing it for the export market.

The Pulsar 135 LS was launched as an entry level model in the Pulsar line-up. It received an update in early 2017 to meet the BS IV emission norms. Along with the mechanical changes, some aesthetic changes were also made to the bike. The changes included a taller visor, heel and toe type gear shift lever and a single-piece grab handle. Additionally, the split seat was replaced with a single seat.

The Pulsar 135 LS was powered by a 134.6 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that made 13.4 BHP and 11.4 Nm of torque. The engine was mated to a 5-speed transmission. It was offered with disc brake in the front and a drum setup in the rear.
