Rs. 1.3 Lakh price cut on the Mitsubishi Cedia

The Mitsubishi Cedia Sports variant now costs Rs. 7,99,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). This is a good price for the all-rounded sedan. In fact, it is now priced a mere Rs. 1 lakh over the fully loaded variants of the Tata Manza & Toyota Etios, and Rs. 50,000 over the ol' Ford Fiesta Classic top-end. For this price, you get a car loaded to the gills with features such as full leather seats, climate control, colour LCD, Bluetooth equipped sound system, dual air-bags, MOMO steering etc.

The Cedia is fun to drive, and there is no dearth of performance upgrades in the after-market either. Just ensure that you hold on to it for years; the Cedia loses 50% of its value in the first year itself. Alternatively, you could buy a 1 - 2 year old Cedia for lesser than the MRP of a new Swift.
