Royal Enfield Continental GT now available in black

Royal Enfield has officially confirmed the launch of the Continental GT in the "GT Black" colour. The café racer was only available in red and yellow until now. The introduction of the black colour could improve the otherwise weak selling model's appeal as it is a more popular colour choice. Like in the case of the other shades, the black paint will be limited to the fuel tank, side panels and rear seat cowl. The double cradle frame is black across the range while the fenders, exhaust, wheels engine and most of the other parts are finished in silver or chrome.

The Continental GT is powered by a single cylinder air cooled, 535cc engine that produces 29.1 BHP @ 5,100 rpm and 44 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm. Fuel is fed through a Keihin electronic fuel injection system, while transmission duties are carried out by a 5-speed manual gearbox. Prices remain the same as the other two colours and the Continental GT is priced at around Rs 2.13 Lakh on-road Delhi.
