Rolls Royce Spectre luxury EV launched at Rs 7.5 crore

The Spectre comes with a 102 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of up to 530 km.

Rolls Royce has launched its first pure-electric model, the Spectre, in India. The luxury EV is priced at Rs 7.5 crore (ex-showroom).

The Spectre looks like a typical Rolls Royce with a familiar design, featuring a long bonnet and a fastback-styled rear. The electric coupe is based on an all-aluminium spaceframe chassis and measures 5.4 meters in length.

The Spectre has the widest grille ever fitted to a Rolls Royce, and carries forward the brand’s iconic ‘Spirit of Ecstacy’. It has slim LED headlamps, aero-optimized 21-inch wheels and vertical LED tail lights.

The interior of the Spectre is as luxurious as any other luxo-barge with the ‘RR’ badge. The car gets a digital instrument cluster, a large touchscreen infotainment system and intricated LEDs integrated into the door panels and headliner.

The Spectre comes with a 102 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of up to 530 km (WLTP cycle). It powers electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles to produce 575 BHP and 900 Nm, allowing the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Rolls Royce claims the battery can be charged from 10-80% in 34 minutes using a 195 kW DC fast charger. The car also gets active suspension and four-wheel steering.
