Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II launched at Rs. 4.5 crore

British luxury carmaker Rolls-Royce has launched the Ghost Series II in India at a price of Rs. 4.5 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The Ghost Series II stands 5569 mm long, 1948 mm in wide and 1550 mm high with a wheelbase of 3465 mm. The car features new LED headlamps, new bonnet, redesigned bumpers, new tail lamps and a chrome-lined front air intake. Customers can choose from a new range of paint shades and alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Series II features reworked front and rear seats, enhancements to the instrumentation with chrome accents and new wooden veneers. The car gets an upgraded infotainment system has a 10.2-inch screen and a touchpad controller and on-board WiFi.

The Ghost Series II is powered by the same 6.6-litre, V12 petrol engine that develops 563 bhp 780 Nm of torque. Rolls-Royce claims a 0-100 kph time of 5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph for the car. The car comes with an eight-speed transmission which uses satellite navigation to select gears according on the terrain ahead.

Rolls-Royce claims to have reworked the car's suspension and is offering a Dynamic Driving package to make the car more involving to drive.
