Renault Lodgy Stepway spied on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Earlier this month, Renault India revealed the Renault Lodgy in Stepway trim at the Star Guild Awards. Now MPV has been spotted on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway wearing disguise and a "RENAULT" number plate.

The Stepway variant sits at the top of the Lodgy range and features some cosmetic enhancements, which give it a sportier look compared to the lower variants. These enhancements include front and rear silver skid plates, cladding on the sides and Stepway stickering on the front doors. The MPV has a front grille with chrome detailing and chrome tail gate garnish with "LODGY" embossed in it. The car spotted is seen with reverse parking sensors as well.

On the inside, the Lodgy is expected to borrow a number of components from the Duster. Equipment is likely to include the Duster's touchscreen infotainment system among others. The MPV is also likely to use the same 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine as the Duster in both 84 bhp and 108 bhp states of tune.

Renault is expected to launch the Lodgy in March 2015. It will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Honda Mobilio, Chevrolet Enjoy, Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova.
