Renault Lodgy: More images and details

More images and details of the upcoming Renault Lodgy have surfaced on the internet.

Renault had revealed the Stepway variant of the Lodgy at the Star Guild Awards in January. The version spotted on this occasion is the standard one. It does not feature the cosmetic enhancements that are seen on the Stepway. The bumpers lose the brushed silver skid plates, and there are no roof rails or plastic cladding on the sides to the MPV. The Lodgy has an India-specific, chrome-detailed grille.

On the inside, the Lodgy gets a dual-tone, brown and beige dashboard. The centre console is finished in piano black with silver inserts. Many components, including the steering wheel, air-conditioner vents and control knobs, instrument cluster and gear lever appear to have been borrowed from the Duster SUV. The Lodgy's seats are upholstered in two-tone perforated leather.

The top of the line RxZ trim level of the Renault Lodgy will be equipped with a multi-function steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, USB, AUX connectivity, a rear view camera with reverse parking sensors, tray tables for the second row passengers, roof-mounted air-conditioner vents for rear passengers and two bottle holders for each row.

The Lodgy will use the the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine as the Duster in both, 108 bhp and 84 bhp states of tune. The MPV will not get a petrol engine.
