Production resumes at Fiat India's Ranjangaon plant

Fiat India has resumed operations at its Ranjangaon plant. Models like the Jeep Compass and Tata Nexon are built here.

According to Fiat, safety measures to protect its workforce from infections have been implemented. The entire facility is being regularly sanitized and employees have been asked to follow social distancing. The company has set up a 50-member task force to supervise the following of precautionary processes introduced by the management.

Use of presonal protection equipment (PPE) inside the facility is mandatory. Fiat is also providing medical support to employees. The plant is equipped with a dedicated ambulance that has an on-board ventilator.
