Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT launched at Rs. 2.57 crore

The Cayenne Turbo GT competes with the Audi RSQ8 and Lamborghini Urus.

Porsche has announced the launch of the Cayenne Turbo GT in India. It is priced at Rs 2.57 crore (ex-showroom).

The Turbo GT is the most powerful version of the Cayenne. It is available in a coupe body style and competes with the Audi RSQ8 and Lamborghini Urus.

The Cayenne Turbo GT is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 632 BHP and 850 Nm. An 8-speed automatic transmission is employed to put the power down to the tarmac. Porsche claims it will do 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 300 km/h.

The Turbo GT comes with a redesigned front end featuring larger air intakes, a new rear bumper with an integrated diffuser and dual exhausts in the centre. In addition to a roof spoiler, the SUV gets a carbon fibre active rear wing as well.

Inside, the Cayenne Turbo GT gets sports seats with Alcantara upholstery and a 3-spoke steering wheel with a 12 o’clock mark in Racing Yellow. In the centre is a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

To create the Turbo GT, Porsche had to make a few changes to the chassis of the Cayenne. It now features a 15% stiffer suspension with revised dampers and anti-roll bars. The SUV comes equipped with a rear-axle steering system and carbon ceramic brakes.
