Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition launched at Rs. 1.07 crore

Porsche has introduced the Platinum edition of petrol and diesel Cayenne models in India. The Platinum edition would be on offer for a limited period of time and would now be offered with RS Spyder 20-inch wheels. While the petrol version is priced at Rs. 1,06,68,000, the diesel version is available for Rs. 1,08,86,000 (ex-showroom, Maharashtra).

In terms of the interiors, the car will get a 'Platinum Edition' badging on the door sills. The seats come wrapped in leather and have eight-way electrical adjustment.

In terms of infotainment, the car comes with a Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system that has a 7-inch touchscreen, navigation and connect plus module with Apple CarPlay. The car also gets a Bose surround sound system.

Adding to the features, the car gets bi-xenon headlights and park assist in the front and rear. The car is also equipped with adaptive air suspension, panoramic sunroof, 4-zone climate control and electrical sun blinds for the side windows.

There are no mechanical changes in the Platinum edition. The vehicle is powered by a 3.6-litre petrol engine that produces 295 BHP @ 6,300 rpm and 400 Nm of torque @ 3,000 rpm. The diesel version has a 3.0-litre engine that churns out 241 BHP @ 3,800-4,400 rpm and 550 Nm of torque @ 1,750-2,750 rpm. Both engine options are mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox.

The two models are available in two non-metallic colours - Black and White. Metallic colours such as Jet Black, Rhodium Silver, Mahogany, Carrera White and Purpurite are also on offer.
