My 1990 Yamaha RX 100 took part in the Heritage on Wheels display of vintages on 16.02.2025 at the Raman Science Centre (RSC), Nagpur. Its RC has been regularly updated without breaks and the bike keeps running flawlessly.

Here we can see it with other Yamahas. The Cent Ind Vintage Automotive Association (CIVAA) which organised the display with the RSC has broadened its outreach by including the "not so old" bikes and scooters. Such events of recent 15-49 year old newer emerging classics have given their owners a greater smug satisfaction and will-power to maintain their prized possessions for posterity, despite the draconian taxes and fines being imposed by the Union Transport and Highways Ministry that are solely aimed at discouraging owners from keeping these vehicles. No way- the enthusiasts say "NO". Most said come what may , they will continue to own their old vehicles.
