Piaggio launches Aprilia SXR 125 in India at Rs. 1.15 lakh

The Aprilia SXR 125 is powered by a 124.45cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, that produces 9.39 BHP @ 7,600 rpm and 9.2 Nm @ 6,250 rpm.

Piaggio has launched the Aprilia SXR 125 scooter in India at a price of Rs. 1,14,994/- (ex-showroom, Pune). The scooter can be booked for an amount of Rs. 5,000/- across all Aprilia dealerships in India and the company’s website.

The Aprilia SXR 125 is powered by a 124.45cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 3-valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, that produces 9.39 BHP @ 7,600 rpm and 9.2 Nm @ 6,250 rpm. The scooter comes with a 12V, 5.0 Ah MF battery and a fuel capacity of 7 litres.

Stopping power comes from a 220 mm ventilated disc brake with a twin pot caliper at the front and a 140 mm drum brake at the rear. The scooter is equipped with a Combi Braking System.

The SXR 125 has a 3 coat HD body paint finish with Aprilia signature graphics and matt black inserts along with dark chrome elements. It is available in Glossy Red, Matt Blue, Glossy White and Matt Black colours. The scooter comes with wraparound twin crystal LED headlights and eye line position lights that merge with the front turn-indicator. At the rear, it gets a wraparound LED tail light with integrated turn-indicators.

The SXR 125 gets a leather seat with a suede feel, detailed with a special stitch pattern in grey and red threads. It is also equipped with a 210 cm sq. multifunctional digital instrument cluster including a digital speed indicator, rpm meter, mileage indicator, average speed and top speed display, digital fuel indicator and more. Customers can also opt for a Bluetooth connectivity accessory.
