Ozark 250, Quadsport Z400 - Suzuki launches two ATVs in India

Suzuki has launched two all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) in India, marking its entry into the largely untapped space. The Ozark 250 leisure-ATV has been priced at Rs. 5.45 lakh, while the Quadsport Z400 sport-ATV is priced at Rs. 8.50 lakh (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).

The Ozark 250 is powered by a 246cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine that comes mated to a five-speed semi-automatic (automatic clutch) transmission. The ATV has 210 mm of ground clearance and gets independent double-wishbone coil-over dual-shock absorbers up front with 140 mm of travel and a swingarm-type rear suspension with a monoshock absorber that also offers 140 mm of travel. Stopping power comes from disc brakes up front and a drum brake at the rear.

The Quadsport Z400 is powered by a 398cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine with the fuel fed through a multi-point Suzuki fuel-injection system. The Quadsport gets an independent double-wishbone coil-over oil damped suspension at the front and a swingarm-type oil damped rear suspension with stopping power coming from twin discs at the front and a disc at the rear.

In the first phase, Suzuki will sell their ATVs through authorised dealers in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata, Jodhpur and Hyderabad.
