Ola's Guardian real-time ride monitoring system now in India

According to a media report, Ola has launched its Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based real-time ride monitoring system called Guardian in India.

Guardian uses real-time data from rides to automatically detect irregularities like prolonged stops and route deviations.

The Guardian system was rolled out on a pilot basis in Bangalore, Mumbai and Pune in September 2018. The feature is now available in 16 Indian cities. The company plans to roll out the safety feature in more cities in the coming quarter.
