Ola Gig electric scooter launched at Rs 39,999

The Ola Gig e-scooter is aimed at last-mile delivery services. It comes with a removable battery pack.

Ola has launched a new electric scooter called the Gig. It is aimed at the B2B segment and comes in two variants: Gig and Gig+, priced at Rs 39,999 and Rs 49,999 (ex-showroom), respectively.

The Ola Gig has a utilitarian but futuristic design with minimal bodywork and a single seat. The scooter has an exposed handlebar with a small digital instrument console.

The Ola Gig is powered by a hub motor with a peak output of 250 watts. It has a top speed of 25 km/h. The Gig+ uses a more powerful 1.5 kW motor capable of attaining 45 km/h.

The Ola Gig comes with a 1.5 kWh removable battery pack offering a range of 112 km. The Gig+ is available with either one or two 1.5 kWh battery packs with a range of 81 km and 157 km, respectively.
