The Ola electric scooter has been spotted testing for the first time. The ride-hailing firm plans to launch it in the Indian market later this year.
The Ola electric scooter is expected to be based on the Etergo AppScooter - a Dutch brand which Ola had acquired last year.
In the spy images featured here, the scooter appears to be compact in size with a sleek body. It has a single-side swingarm and a disc brake at the front.
Ola plans to manufacture electric 2-wheelers in India and is already in talks with four state governments. It plans to set up a production facility with a capacity of 2 million units, which would make it the largest e-scooter manufacturing plant in the world.
