Norton Motorcycles has revealed a cafe racer prototype called the V4CR. It is based on the V4SV superbike that the company had unveiled in November 2021.

The Norton V4CR cafe racer prototype has the same 1,200cc, liquid-cooled, V4 engine that the brand uses in the V4SV. It is capable of producing 185 BHP @ 12,500 rpm and 125 Nm @ 9,000 rpm.

The fuel tank and bodywork of the V4CR are made up of carbon fibre. The prototype also has a billet aluminium swingarm and chassis. It is expected to have high-end performance parts such as Brembo brakes, suspension components from Ohlins, and a titanium exhaust.

The Norton V4CR cafe racer prototype is the first product that is built and engineered at the company's new headquarters in Solihull, UK. More details regarding the motorcycle should be revealed at a later stage.
