According to a media report, Nissan has postponed the launch of the Magnite sub-4 meter SUV to January 2021. The car was initially planned to go on sale in August 2020. The reason for the delay is said to be the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the disruptions caused due to it.
Nissan had already started the teaser campaign as a build-up to the launch. The carmaker had released an image showing the car in side profile. More recently, the Magnite had also featured in a teaser video.
The Magnite will be based on the CMF-A+ platform. It is expected to share its underpinnings with the Renault Triber. The SUV could be powered by a 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine, while lower variants might get a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre engine.
