Maruti Suzuki is set to announce the prices for the next generation Celerio on November 10, 2021. Arena showrooms have already started accepting pre-bookings for the new model.
The Celerio is expected to be offered in four variants - LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+. The option of an automated manual transmission (AMT) will be available on all variants except for the base 'LXI' trim. The car features a redesigned exterior and refreshed interior complete with a touchscreen infotainment system.
Under the bonnet, the Celerio will be powered by a new K-Series engine featuring Idle Start-Stop. The 1.0-litre motor will be paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
The new Celerio will take on hatchbacks like the Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro.
