Skoda has displayed an image of the fourth-gen Octavia on the brand's Indian website. The teaser reveals the car's front end and its alloy wheels. It gets a typical Skoda grille with a chrome border, L-shaped LED DRLs, and multi-spoke alloy wheels.
Production of the sedan has begun at the company's facility in Shendra, Aurangabad. It is scheduled to be launched in the country later this month. A test mule was also spotted undisguised.
The vehicle is expected to be offered with features such as LED headlights, a floating touchscreen infotainment head-unit, a 2-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.
The Octavia is likely to come with a choice of two turbocharged petrol engines. These include a 1.5-litre TSI unit paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 2.0-litre TSI unit which could be offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
