Kia has announced that the online bookings for the Syros will open tonight from 12 AM onwards. Customers can also book the SUV at their nearest dealership from January 3.
Customers can place their orders by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. Official prices of the Kia Syros will be announced on February 1 and deliveries will commence in mid-February.
The Kia Syros is based on a reinforced K1 platform. It will be available in four standard trims: HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTX+ along with two optional trims HTK(O) and HTX+(O).
The Syros offers sliding and reclining rear seats and segment-first ventilated front and rear seats. It has a 30-inch dual-screen layout housing a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system.
The Syros comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a rear sunshade, ambient lighting, rear AC vents, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and connected car features with remote window ventilation. It also gets a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS.
The Kia Syros will be offered with a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT and a 1.5-litre diesel mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
