My Kia Syros HTK diesel: First impressions after delivery

The Kia Syros is replacing my father's Hyundai i20 diesel manual transmission Sportz variant. He is super happy with the purchase, especially since the diesel engine offers excellent fuel efficiency

We took delivery of our Kia Syros HTK option diesel manual transmission, which is the base variant. The engine feels well-refined and offers a good punch. The gearbox is smooth and clicky, making gear shifts enjoyable. The suspension on our car, equipped with 16-inch wheels, offers a comfortable ride. Hard cornering feels confidence-inspiring.

For the price, Kia has packed the car with impressive features. You get a beautiful 12-inch display, and even with a 4-speaker setup, the sound quality is great. Although there's no automatic climate control, the button layout feels premium, and you wouldn't feel like you're driving a base variant. All controls have dedicated illuminated buttons, adding to the premium feel. Manual seat height adjustment is also provided, ensuring a commanding driving position. The large glass area enhances the airy and roomy feel inside the cabin.
