My deteriorating trust in Triumph: Tiger spends 3 months in workshop

What was promised "a week's timeline", had become a month's end, which soon became the next month's end.

BHPian Pd_007 recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

They all dance to the same tune. My Tiger has been sitting in Khivraj Triumph, Electronic City Banglore for over two months now.

At first, when I visited the showroom they were unable to diagnose the issue with the motorcycle when it started to stall all of a sudden, they said it was a software issue, and everything was A-OK after a software update and their "tests". Only for me to ride it home and stall again multiple times.

The second time around, another technician identified the issue, and I've been waiting on a spare part under warranty since.

For one, their communication isn't clear. What was promised "a week's timeline", had become a month's end, which soon became the next month's end, and now.. "there's a delay in part" story.

Two, the Service Manager asks me to take it up with the spares manager and then asks me to follow up with the technician.

One day, they say the "parts are en-route". And another day I'm told, "Parts are yet to be dispatched". The service manager was unaware of the parts eta or which parts had arrived or not.

Despite many calls/messages/follow up/multiple visits to the showroom, and with the Service team. I'm still waiting on a proper resolution from them about the parts and the estimated delivery of my motorcycle.

This experience has been extremely unpleasant and exhausting. And for someone who works in two different cities, managing work schedules and making time to visit the showroom has been stressful. Not what I had expected from Khivraj Triumph, I'm still waiting for a ray of hope from the dark clouds of the Triumph service centre.

BHPian Pd_007 shared an update:

Well, here's the Update on the Tiger that stayed for 3 months at Khivraj Triumph Electronic City. I received the motorcycle after three months.,

Had the bike delivered home, with no proper invoice (just a QR code and the bill amount, no break up) only to see scratches on the tank, and chipped paint cut through the clear coat and primer. Disappointed to say the least, tried reaching out to concerned personnel, but haven't received any proper response or a resolution.

My trust in Triumph India continues to deteriorate.
