25,000 km with my Duke 390: Ownership & recent service updates

I must say usage has come down drastically. I am waiting for the proper monsoon season to kick in to do a couple of rain rides.

Odometer: 24726km

My bike's right fork oil seal went bust. A year ago the left one went bust, so I decided to get both of the oil seals replaced. I took it to a different FNG this time. This guy has a pick up and drop service. Damage done to the wallet was 1800 bucks. But there is a catch. I asked this guy to send photos during the work as I couldn't wait at his place. Infact I had offered to wait but the guy dropped me off at home saying his technicians didn't arrive yet and it would take time to start the work. I dropped the bike off at 7:30 PM and the mechanic brought it back home at 10:30 PM. The photos he sent to me only showed WIP of the right fork, and he didn't send left fork WIP photos. I inspected the left one and to be honest, it looked just like how it was before but a little better. I have high doubts if the left fork oil seal was replaced or not. I might not go to this guy again. I am attaching pictures, and would appreciate if anyone could make out the difference.

I did contemplate of installing fork oil seal protectors when the left one went bust last year, but decided to do so once the right one fails. Now that I got both sides replaced, I installed fork oil seal protectors from Mototrendz. Kreiga felt too expensive at q
1800 bucks, I didn't want to spend that much. These costed around 900 bucks. Installation was a little tricky and the zip ties that are provided are horrible. They just don't grip on properly. I will get new zip ties if these fall off somewhere.

Apart from this, the next maintenance thing that is due are brake pads. They might last for another 1000-1500kms. Next service I am planning to take it to the showroom, as the bike has crossed 25k kms. I will get the throttle body cleaning done and if required a compression check, as my bike runs out of steam in the top end when compared to bikes of similar vintage.

I also switched back to the stock silver panels, as I had this constant fear of being pulled over by the cops.

Attaching pictures from a few short rides I did recently.

All has been smooth till now. Though I must say usage has come down drastically. I am waiting for the proper monsoon season to kick in to do a couple of rain rides.
