Montreal GP: Another win for Hamilton!

Mercedes is all smiles this season as Lewis Hamilton snatched the chequered flag once again. Holding first place for all, but one lap, Hamilton grabbed the gold with co-driver Nico Rosberg securing second place. In the process, Hamilton beat Nigel Mansell as the Briton to have led the most race laps in Formula 1. After successively falling just short of the podium, Williams finally scored a third place finish with Valtteri Bottas holding off fellow fin Kimi Raikkonen.

Ferrari’s frustration this season continues with the Ice Man placing fourth followed by Sebastian Vettel in fifth place. Pastor Maldonado drove into an incident-less sixth place, but co-driver Romain Grosjean dropped down to tenth place. Grosjean looked like he would finish above Maldonado, but a brush with Marussia’s Will Stevens made him lose points.

Force India’s Nico Hulkenberg placed eighth after an incident with Vettel on lap 43 with 21 year old Daniil Kvyat placing ninth for Red Bull. Mclaren retired both their cars with engine and exhaust troubles ruining their race.

Up next on the calendar is the Austrian GP from 19-21 June.
