MG Gloster handled the torrential rain during our road trip with ease

We didn't use any of the ADAS features but the AEB warnings were turned on. It was surprising how well the SUV was able to detect cars, bikes, trucks etc. in front of us in the rain without any problem.

Quick (and small) update

We went on a road trip recently. Torrential downpours throughout the entire journey. Road closures and potholes were common sight. We didn't have to worry about anything thanks to the ground clearance. Potholes weren't punishing like they would in our older car. The car was able to handle everything with ease.

The rear camera got dirty too many times. MG should have provided a rear camera washer for it or concealed the camera.

NVH was low during the entire journey. The only sound was from the rain, which was soothing.

Mileage with a mix of city, highway, and ghat driving (on the way back home).

No issues were faced related to Apple Carplay during the entire trip. I think MG ironed out everything between this trip and my initial ownership posts.

Random videos throughout the journey.

Here is a parting shot
