Mercedes-Benz has launched the E-Class long-wheelbase facelift in India. The car is available in five variants and prices start at Rs. 63.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated E-Class gets a reworked grille and headlamp clusters, new tail lights and chrome exhaust tips. This variant has a 140 mm longer wheelbase compared to the standard car.
On the inside, the car comes with dual 12.3-inch screens - one for the MBUX infotainment system and one for the digital instrument cluster. It also gets a new 3-spoke steering wheel with capacitive touch controls. Additionally, Mercedes has integrated a touchscreen in the rear centre armrest.
The 350d AMG Line variant gets a unique front grille, AMG design front and rear bumpers, beige-tropez blue interior upholstery and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The E-Class LWB is available with three engine options. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 194 BHP / 320 Nm, a 2.0-litre diesel unit with 192 BHP / 400 Nm and a 3.0-litre diesel motor that puts out 282 BHP and 600 Nm. All engines are mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
