Exterior:

The E 53 and E 63 S are based on the facelift E Class. Both cars are equipped with sporty AMG body kits featuring the Panamericana grille, aggressive front and rear bumpers, quad exhausts and a lip spoiler. Both cars ride on 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, while 20-inch wheels are available as an option.

On the inside, both AMG sedans get the updated MBUX infotainment system. Just like the regular E-Class, the high-performance versions get dual screens on the dashboard. Other features include an AMG-style flat-bottom steering wheel, ambient lighting and ventilated seats.

Engine & Performance:

While both cars might look similar on the outside, under the bonnet, it's a different story altogether. The EQ Boost function adds another 21 BHP and 250 Nm for a short duration.

The AMG E 63 S, on the other hand, gets a proper 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that puts out 607 BHP @ 1,570-6,500 rpm and 850 Nm @ 2,500-4,500 rpm. This car takes just 3.4 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h and has a top speed of 300 km/h. Both cars come with a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
