Maserati officially re-enters India; appoints 3 dealers

Maserati has officially re-entered the Indian automobile market. While the company will operate through Fiat Chrysler Automobiles India (FCAI), it will set up a separated dealership and service network.

Maserati plans to set up dealerships - in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore in the coming months which will be handled by AMP Supercars Pvt. Ltd., Bagga Luxury Motorcars LLP and Jubilant Autoworks Pvt. Ltd. respectively.

Maserati's model range in India consists of:

Ghibli - Priced at Rs. 1.1 crore, this sedan is powered by a 3.0-litre, V6 diesel engine putting out 275 BHP.

Quattroporte - This sedan is available in two versions -

Diesel - 3.0-litre, V6 diesel, 275 BHP, price - Rs. 1.5 crore

GTS - 3.8-litre, V8 petrol, 523 BHP, price - Rs. 2.2 crore

GranTurismo and GranCabrio - Priced at Rs. 1.8 crore and Rs. 2.0 crore respectively, these 2-door coupe and convertible siblings are powered by V8 petrol engines.

Maserati has also revealed that it will bring the Levante SUV to India next year.
