Maruti Vitara Brezza brochure leaked ahead of launch

Ahead of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza's launch tomorrow, the compact SUV's brochure has been leaked (courtesy: Carsizzler). Key details such as the engine options have already been revealed, and the brochure confirms that the Vitara Brezza will use the 1.3-litre (DDiS 200), 4-cylinder, Fiat-sourced diesel engine that produces 89 BHP (@ 4,000 rpm) and 200 Nm of torque (@ 1,750 rpm).

The car gets a 5-speed manual gearbox and as expected, two-wheel drive only. The car delivers a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 24.3 kpl, which is lesser than the SHVS-equipped Ciaz's 28.09 kpl, but more than the S-Cross DDiS 200's 23.65 kpl, both of which have the same engine and tune as the Vitara Brezza.

The Vitara Brezza will be available in the LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+ grades. The LDi, VDi and their respective option kit variants - LDi (O) & VDi (O) will ride on 16-inch steel wheels wrapped around by 205/60 section tyres, while the range topping ZDi and ZDi+ get 215/60 section rubber with 16-inch alloy wheels.

A driver airbag is standard across the range while the LDi (O), VDi (O), ZDi and ZDi+ get a passenger airbag and ABS with EBD as well.

The Vitara Brezza will get a total of 9 colour options, consisting of 6 single-tone and 3 dual-tone colour palettes. Options include 'Pearl Arctic White', 'Premium Silver' and 'Granite Grey' (available across all variants), 'Blazing Red' (available on all variants except the range topping ZDi+), 'Cerulean Blue' (available only with the VDi, VDi (O) and ZDi), and 'Fiery Yellow' (available exclusively with the ZDi).

The dual-tone colour options i.e. 'Blazing Red with a Midnight Black roof', 'Cerulean Blue with a Pearl Arctic White roof' and 'Fiery Yellow with a Pearl Arctic White roof' are available only with the range-topping ZDi+ grade.

Length x width x height x wheelbase dimensions come in at 3,995 mm x 1,790 mm x 1,640 mm x 2,500 mm. The Vitara Brezza will directly rival the Ford EcoSport, while competing with the likes of the Mahindra TUV300 as well.

The Vitara Brezza will be sold through Maruti's regular dealerships and not through the NEXA premium dealer network.
