Maruti unveils Vitara Brezza facelift with BS6 Petrol engine

Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the Vitara Brezza facelift, which is now available with a BS6 compliant petrol engine.

The updated Vitara Brezza comes with a new chrome grille flanked by twin-pod headlamps that have J-shaped LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has been redesigned. It gets a silver insert and houses circular fog lamps.

The Vitara Brezza has a black roof and gets blacked-out A, B and C-pillars. It has black ORVMs and cladding around the wheel arches and along the door sills. The car rides on dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, the updated version gets new tail lamps and a chrome garnish. The dual-tone rear bumper also has a silver insert.

On the inside, the new Vitara Brezza gets an updated 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment head-unit. It also gets features such as cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, ABS and dual airbags.

Powering the new Vitara Brezza is a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre petrol engine. It produces 104 BHP and 138 Nm and comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology is available with the 4-speed automatic transmission only.
