Maruti Suzuki launches Suzuki Connect for NEXA customers

Maruti Suzuki has launched Suzuki Connect - a telematics solution for existing and new NEXA customers. It comes with features like emergency alerts, vehicle tracking, live vehicle status and preventive maintenance calls.

Suzuki Connect will be available as an option at NEXA dealerships. It is a subscription-based service and costs Rs. 9,999 for a 3-year subscription. Suzuki Connect is available on Android and iOS platforms.

Once installed, the application can be connected with a smartphone via the Nexa App. The software is deeply embedded into the system and can't be tampered with. 

Suzuki Connect employs a Telematics Control Unit (TCU) to exchange information with a centralized server connected to NEXA customer care via a cellular network. In case of an emergency, it can be configured to send information to up to 5 selected users.
