Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to give the Ertiga MUV a facelift. The car has been spotted testing and is likely to be launched before the end of this fiscal.
Among the changes expected to the exteriors of the Ertiga are a new twin slat grille, new front and rear bumpers and alloy wheels of a different design. It is unclear whether the car will get any changes to the interiors. It is rumoured that Maruti will equip it with electrically retractable rear view mirrors, automatic climate control and features from the Swift facelift, which was launched in October.
The Ertiga facelift is expected to continue with the same engines as the current model, but Maruti could tune them for delivering better fuel efficiency.
The Ertiga has been a strong seller for Maruti crossing 5,000 units a month on a regular basis. With the facelift, Maruti will hope to further increase its appeal.
