Maruti Super Carry LCV with 1.2L K Series engine launched

The Super Carry is now available in a new Cab Chassis variant.

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a more powerful version of the Super Carry mini-truck. It is available in four variants with prices starting at Rs 5,30,500 (ex-showroom).

The Super Carry is now available with a K-Series Dual Jet 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that makes 80 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 104.4 Nm @ 2,900 rpm. When running on CNG, the engine develops 71 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 95 Nm @ 2,800 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Super Carry measures 3,800 mm in length, 1,562 mm in width, 1,883 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,110 mm. The maximum payload capacity of the Petrol and CNG versions is 740 kg and 625 kg, respectively.

The Super Carry is now available in a new Cab Chassis variant. It is equipped with front disc brakes, reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminders and an engine immobilizer. The CNG variants get a 5-litre emergency petrol tank.
