Maruti S-Presso exports commence

Maruti Suzuki has started exports of the S-Presso hatchback. The first consignment of cars has been shipped to markets in Asia, Latin America and Africa.

The S-Presso was launched in September 2019. Since then, Maruti has sold over 35,000 units of the car in the domestic market.

The S-Presso is powered by a BS-VI compliant 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 67 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 90 Nm @ 3,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
