Maruti to rectify wheel size marking on 19,731 Eeco vans

Maruti has confirmed that it should have no implication on performance or safety.

Maruti Suzuki has issued a recall of 19,731 Eeco vans over incorrectly marked wheel rim size.

According to the company, the recall is being undertaken to inspect and rectify incorrect marking of wheel rim size, if any, on the wheel in some of these vehicles. Maruti has confirmed that it should have no implication on performance or safety.

The issue came to light during a routine inspection. It is said that the wheel rim size was incorrectly marked in Eeco vans manufactured between July 19, 2021 and October 5, 2021.

Owners can check if their vehicle is among those affected by entering the vehicle chassis number on Maruti Suzuki's official website.
