Maruti adds disinfecting tunnels in Manesar, Gurgaon plants

Maruti Suzuki has installed disinfecting tunnels for its employees at the Manesar and Gurgaon plants.

Earlier this week, we reported that the government could allow carmakers to begin production of automobiles even as the country is in lockdown. It is said that companies that have sanitation and social distancing norms in place could operate at 20-25% capacity. The companies will also have to provide a single entry point for workers and transportation or should make arrangements for their stay at the factory.
