Mahindra service recall to resolve XUV700 suspension issue

Mahindra has proactively recalled both petrol and diesel versions of the XUV700 manufactured at its Chakan plant.

Mahindra has issued a service recall for the XUV700 to fix the front suspension noise reported by owners.

According to an official technical service bulletin, Mahindra will replace the front lower control arm and its rear control bush to address the issues faced by XUV700 owners.

It is said that several XUV700 owners have reported “gud-gud” noise emanating from the front suspension. Taking note of this, Mahindra has proactively recalled both petrol and diesel vehicles manufactured at its Chakan plant. The VIN cut-off for the affected units is N6K18709.

This is not the first time that Mahindra has issued a service recall to address a technical fault in the XUV700. The carmaker recalled the all-wheel drive variants in July this year. Another recall was issued to fix the turbocharger and alternator belt issues.
