Mahindra Quanto gets "yoga seats" for row 2

Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced “yoga seats” for the second row of its sub 4-metre SUV, the Quanto.

Since its launch, the Quanto came with a fixed bench seat for the second row, which was thin and uncomfortable. The manufacturer claims that the yoga seats, which are split in a 60:40 ratio can be folded and flipped forward, reclined and have better cushioning. A centre arm-rest has also been provided. The company claims these seats allow the car to have 36 different seating combinations.

The company has made no further changes to the Quanto, whether mechanical or cosmetic. The vehicle continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder, mCR100 diesel engine, developing 100 PS and 240 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
