Mahindra Centuro with disc brake priced at Rs. 51,300

Last year, we had reported that Mahindra Two Wheelers was testing a new variant of the Centuro commuter motorcycle. This new variant had a front petal disc brake. Now, the company has silently introduced the bike in the market at a price of Rs. 51,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

There are no other changes to the Centuro. It continues to use the 106.7 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.4 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm and is mated to a 4-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is equipped with features such as an electric starter, remote flip key, anti-theft alarm, engine immobiliser, find me lamps, guide lamps, digital instrumentation, distance to empty meter and alloy wheels.

The Centuro has a double cradle tubular frame with a telescopic fork front suspension and dual 5-step adjustable coil springs at the rear.
