Came back from Nashik yesterday while we left on Saturday morning.
Traffic till Padhga with vehicles haphazarldy parked, taking turns from wherever they feel like and most of all, no rules at all. Pathetic.
Bridges that are built on this road are so broken, some of them need to be driven at 1 and 2 kmph.
Be vary of potholes, they are still there, lesser in number than before but there.
While coming back from Kasara, the non-scientific rumblers are back with trucks and trailers which are heavily loaded smoking from the constant braking for each rumbler on a downslope. High chances of brakes failing for heavy vehicles here, government has lost the plot here and some babu has ordered for this nonsense to appear here. Be careful when you brake on these rumblers if there is a heavy vehicle behind and if he is braking too.
While coming back, we drove in the night with a huge traffic jam right after the Kasara Ghats which was half an hour long, reason? The service road below the bridge that was being constructed was in shambles.
All in all, pathetic roads, haphazard traffic but I think if you leave early and drive slowly, you can manage to save time and your car. Took us 5 hours to cover the distance while coming back and similar times when going.
