The Lamborghini Temerario made its global debut in August last year. The Huracan successor will soon be available in India. It will be launched on April 30.
Unlike the Huracan, the new Temerario uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain, featuring a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors and an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The internal combustion engine produces 789 BHP and 729 Nm, while the electric motors add another 148 BHP and 300 Nm for a total of 920 BHP. It comes with a 3.8 kWh battery pack which can be charged in 30 minutes using a 7 kW AC charger. Lamborghini claims, the Temerario can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of 340 km/h.
The baby Lambo carries forward the sleek, wedge-shaped design. It has a low and flat front fascia with slim LED headlamps and hexagonal LED DRLs, and a central exhaust at the back flanked by hexagonal LED taillights.
Inside, the Temerario gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8.4-inch vertical infotainment system. It has a new 3-spoke steering wheel and an additional 9.1-inch screen on the passenger side.
