Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder launched at Rs. 4.09 crore

Lamborghini has launched the Huracan Evo Spyder in India at a price starting from Rs. 4.09 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Huracan Evo Spyder is largely identical to the Huracan Evo, which was launched earlier this year. Major exterior changes include the soft-top roof that takes 17 seconds to retract at speeds up to 50 km/h. To accommodate the mechanism, the rear deck has been revised and the car also gets a new engine cover. The folding roof is claimed to add an extra 120 kg to the car's weight.

The mechanicals are identical to the Huracan Evo. The Spyder is powered by a 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated V10 petrol engine that produces 630 BHP and 600 Nm. Power is transmitted to all the four wheels through a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The car also gets features like the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) chassis control system, rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring. The car is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 325 km/h.

Apart from the safety features available on the Huracan Evo, the Spyder gets automatic pop-up bars that are hidden away. Customers can also customise their car using the Italian carmaker's Ad Personam customisation program.
