KTM RC 200 enters production ahead of 2021 launch

The new model gets a redesigned fairing, new alloy wheels and a larger windscreen. The bike appears to have a larger fuel tank and has a hexagonal halogen headlamp.

KTM has started building the 2021 RC 200 at their Chakan plant near Pune. The bike is expected to be launched early next year.

The latest spy image reveals a brand new RC 200 being assembled on the production line. The new model gets a redesigned fairing, new alloy wheels and a larger windscreen. The bike appears to have a larger fuel tank and has a hexagonal halogen headlamp. It also gets a new rear subframe and an under-belly exhaust.

The RC 200 is likely to be powered by a BS6-compliant 199.5cc, single-cylinder engine. In the current model, it produces 25 BHP and 19.2 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
